Every Little Thing

I wish I remembered what it was like to learn and see all the things Thorvald is learning and seeing for the first time. Watching his day-to-day development is breathtaking and mesmerizing. Would it be so inappropriate to throw a party to celebrate each of his new-found abilities to raspberry his lips, for example, or to push his chest up from the ground with his arms, or to roll from front to back? Brad and I are awed by his determination, by his love of all things human, by his wonderful and pleasing nature, and by how much we're learning and enjoying as we watch and love this little boy.
